On May 16th 2022 the sculptor Jesse Wine will be visiting St Andrews as part of an artist residency he is doing through the Roberts Institute of Art. The Centre for Contemporary Art is hosting a multi-disciplinary discussion with the artist on themes related to a new artwork he is developing for his residency. Wine is especially keen to discuss topics related to nature & artifice, monstrosity, hybridity, decay, and landscape temporalities.
Staff members from History, English, Modern Languages, and beyond will be gathering for a 90-minute informal discussion with the artist about shared research interests.
