Our next Work in Progress session will take place on Friday 28 April 2023 from 1-2pm (online via Teams) with Dr Anna Grasskamp. We will be reading Anna’s essay Shell as Territory: Maritime Material Culture and ‘Chinese’ Matter in Twenty-First Century Art in advance of the meeting, and discussing it together.
The St Andrews Centre for Contemporary Art runs regular work-in-progress sessions each semester, which provide a supportive and nurturing environment to discuss articles, chapters, catalogue essays and other pieces of writing together with peers, and to workshop ideas, structure and the publication process. If you would like to share your work via an in-progress session, please get in touch! Sessions generally run once or twice a semester, in the first or last weeks of term. Sessions are run online via MS Teams.
All are welcome to join! Please email [email protected] to receive a copy of the text in advance and the Teams link.
